Leadership Team

Pauline Cluer - Secretary (and more!)   Brenda O'Brien - Treasurer (and more!)
Pauline is married to Andy.  They have lived in Totteridge for over 30 years and still love it here.

Pauline has been at Totteridge Baptist Church for more than10 years after the Lord called her to her local church, having spent time in various roles at previous churches around the area.

In her spare time Pauline enjoys going to London, anything cultural, theatre especially musicals, and definitely cream teas!

Pauline loves sharing her passion for prayer and encouraging everyone to discover more about their personal relationship with the Lord.
Brenda has been a member of Totteridge Baptist Church for 50 years. She is married to Peter and they have two daughters. Brenda was born and brought up in Wycombe, although she is proudly Welsh. She had several moves away when she was younger but Wycombe remains home.

Brenda had a long career/vocation in primary school teaching. She and her husband are keen travellers, trying to see as much of the world as they can while they can! They are season ticket holders at Adams Park, supporting the mighty Blues.

Brenda is passionate about world mission – starting but not ending in Totteridge. She is mission coordinator for the church and loves to encourage mission interest and support.

Andy Cluer - Property (and more!)
Andy (Andrew) has been a member of Totteridge Baptist Church for over 10 years. He is married to Pauline and they have a daughter, Leia.

Andy was brought up in Morden, Surrey. After following his father (a Church of England priest) around, Andy moved back to London for work when he had finished his education.

Andy married Pauline several years later and in 1987 they moved to their present home in High Wycombe. Andy agrees with Pauline that they love the Totteridge area.

Andy was a season ticket holder for all the years Wasps Rugby Club were in High Wycombe and still follows them closely but with less live rugby these days.

Andy is very keen on history and believes that an understanding of history helps in understanding the Bible and biblical times.

Planning your Visit

Welcome

The following information is specifically for those new to us.  We hope it gives you an idea of the kind of people we are and what to expect from us when you visit.

Who are we?

We are a Baptist Church affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and we welcome anyone to come and worship with us and be part of our community.  You don't have to be a Baptist! More information on what we believe can be found on the About Us part of the site.

How to find us

Visit our Contact Us page for details.

Accessibility

Access to our site is up a steep concrete drive or up some shallow steps, and there is flat access to our main building from the car park.  There is a disabled toilet in this main building.  We don't have pews, so can easily move chairs to accommodate space for a mobility scooter or a wheelchair next to a carer.  Please let us know in advance if you need us to reserve space for disabled parking.

Our activities
